Dr. Dalya Al Muthanna- President& Chief Executive Officer, General Electric (GE) Gulf

Dr. Dalya Al Muthanna is the President/ CEO of General Electric (GE) Gulf. In her role, she develops the company’s business strategy for the Gulf region, leading business growth and driving cross business selling across General Electric’s portfolio.

Leading the overall strategic positioning of GE in the Gulf region, Dr. Dalya is committed to building a portfolio of profitable growth initiatives while maintaining the highest level of integrity with an emphasis on leadership and talent development.

She joined GE in 2008 and is the company’s first UAE national to graduate from GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP), during which she received multiple global ECLP awards and undertook global rotations in the US.

Prior to joining GE, she founded and managed a multi-million dollar international franchise.

Dr. Dalya is a board member of Emirates Solar Industry Association (ESIA) Women in Solar Program and a member of the Steering Committee of the MENA Clean Energy Business Council.

She holds a PhD degree from the Imperial College of London in Business Model Innovation and an MBA degree from the American University in Dubai. Dalya is a graduate of GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP). She is a UAE national and lives in Dubai.

Her role entails conducting White Space market assessments, scoping and sizing new potential market opportunities, prioritizing market segments and ultimately proposing go-to-market strategies. Her role also includes developing pre-feasibility studies and identifying, designing and executing on pilot projects.

Additionally Dalya leads strategic partnership activities within Ministries, Government Departments and private sector entities and overlooks the regional energy market dynamics and policies to measure the business impact of market regulations and market barriers.

Dalya is a member of the Steering Committee of the MENA Clean Energy Business Council.
