British Council, EU, ACT Empowers 30 Physically-challenged Women in Skills

The European Union (EU), through the British Council and Agents for Citizens-driven Transformation (ACT), have trained 30 physically-challenged women in skill acquisition.

The Executive Director, Dr Kingsley Nwanyanwu, stated in Port Harcourt, adding that the programme was part of the organisation’s commitment towards capacity-building and improving the livelihood and financial well-being of such women and girls in Rivers.

Syria Holds 3rd Conference on Women’s Internal Security Forces

The Women’s Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria recently held their 3rd Conference at the hall of the Serdem Cultural Centre in Hasakah with the theme; “The Women’s Internal Security Forces will break the chain of betrayal and raise the flag of freedom” with the participation of the members of the Women’s Internal Security Forces and 400 delegations from the Hewarî, Sotoro-Jin, the Natoro-Jin, the Kongra Star and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).
