    HEROINE OF THE WEEK | H.E. Judith Suminwa Tuluka

    She is not simply leading a government, she is reshaping what leadership looks like for millions of African women.

    When H.E. Judith Suminwa Tuluka became the first woman to serve as Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo, she did more than make history. She challenged long-held assumptions about who belongs at the highest levels of decision-making and opened the door for a new generation of women to dream beyond the limits of tradition.

    Her journey is a powerful reminder that leadership is earned through competence, vision, and the courage to serve when the stakes are highest.

    As Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo, she was among the distinguished voices at the Global Power Women Conference (GPWC) 2025, where she shared her insights on women's leadership, governance, and Africa's development agenda. Her participation enriched the global dialogue and reaffirmed her commitment to advancing inclusive and transformative leadership.
