Women hold about 29 per cent of top jobs in the banking sector, showing there is room for more gender inclusion.
A survey by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) further shows that women occupied 20 per cent of board positions with only two serving as chairpersons. The survey included 20 banks.

Obesity is the condition in which a person is overweight and has a high degree of body fat. This condition can be measured by the Body Mass Index of a person (BMI). A person with BMI 25-29 is considered as overweight and the person with a BMI between 30 and 40 are considered as obese.
The academia is an area of endeavour which before now was sparsely delved into by women. However, some few notable women set the pace for the coming generations to follow by going the extra mile and achieving a number of academic milestones.
Many years ago, it was really hard to pick out outstanding women who have carved a niche for themselves amidst cultural and religious hurdles in the Asian continent. However, in recent times, the tables have turned. Not only do we see women living a corporate life, but we also have them setting up innovative businesses to meet very urgent needs in their immediate and extended environment.
