The Women’s Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria recently held their 3rd Conference at the hall of the Serdem Cultural Centre in Hasakah with the theme; “The Women’s Internal Security Forces will break the chain of betrayal and raise the flag of freedom” with the participation of the members of the Women’s Internal Security Forces and 400 delegations from the Hewarî, Sotoro-Jin, the Natoro-Jin, the Kongra Star and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).

Burundi-born Cynthia Ishimwe has made history as she becomes the first woman to referee a match at the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.

“We have many Liberian women who are living Legends and are contributing to our society, but many of them do not know they are. We have women from all sectors, including health, education, business, activists, humanitarian, journalists, agriculture, etc., mentioned in this book. These living Legends can serve as role models to the younger generation in Liberia,” these were the exact words of the Executive Director of one of Liberia’s top literacy programs, Mrs Brenda Brewer Moore.
