Tobi Amusan Becomes The Fastest Woman On Earth

Tobi Amusan is a sprinter and 100-meter hurdles specialist from Nigeria who participates in track and field events. She won the 100-meter hurdles event at the 2022 World Athletics Championships by setting a new world record of 12.12 seconds in the semifinal and 12.06 seconds in the gold-medal race. She won the competition twice at the African Games and was the 2018 Commonwealth and African champion. In the 100-meter hurdles, she won the Diamond League Trophy in Zurich in 2021.

According to data from the World Economic Forum’s 2022 Global Gender Gap Report, the proportion of female founders increased by 2.68 times between 2016 and 2021.
