Marvel’s President Supports the Batgirl Directors

Following Warner Bros.’s decision to cancel the production of the DC superhero movie Batgirl, Marvel President Kevin Feige has extended a message of support to the film’s creators. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah received an email from the head of Marvel Studios stating, “My friends, I had to contact out and let you know we are all thinking about you both. I’m proud of you guys for your incredible effort, especially with Ms. Marvel, of course! I’m eager to learn what comes next for you—Ms. Marvel, a Disney+ miniseries from Marvel, with two episodes directed by El Arbi and Fallah.

Women’s ODI World Cup to be held in 2025; FTP for following five years finalised at ICC Meeting

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly reported in an ICC statement, “We were keen on hosting the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, and we are delighted we have earned the hosting rights for this premier match on the women’s calendar.” However, from its debut in 1973—two years before the men’s mega event began in England in 1975—the 50 over Women’s World Cup has existed as a stand-alone competition.

Tobi Amusan Becomes The Fastest Woman On Earth

Tobi Amusan is a sprinter and 100-meter hurdles specialist from Nigeria who participates in track and field events. She won the 100-meter hurdles event at the 2022 World Athletics Championships by setting a new world record of 12.12 seconds in the semifinal and 12.06 seconds in the gold-medal race. She won the competition twice at the African Games and was the 2018 Commonwealth and African champion. In the 100-meter hurdles, she won the Diamond League Trophy in Zurich in 2021.
