The hardworking man retires leaving his children, Tanya Dubash his eldest daughter as Executive Director and Chief Brand Officer of the Godrej Group, and his only son Pirojsha Godrej as Executive Chairman of Godrej Properties.

Nasiba a graduate of Harvard University was considered the rightful candidate to succeed her father who now retires as the Executive Chairperson of Godrej Group’s flagship firm, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL).

This change in baton took place on the 10 of May 2017 in Mumbai, India.

Nisa as she is fondly called is known to be hard working and known for her beauty and brain. She is effective and creative, little wonder the old Adi couldn’t think of anybody else but her.

Starting as an intern when she came into the company Mrs. Nisa has carried out various assignment perfectly. She is the brain behind the acquisition and sale of hair extension brands like Kinky, Tura, Darling and Frika in Africa from the company. And not just Africa alone, the beautiful lady has successfully pulled out the company from nation-bound to international even in places like the UK, Indonesia, and Latin America. The success and growth of the company over a decade is tied to her labour to put GCPL at the limelight. She is relentless and constantly on the look out to spread GCPL all over the world.

Godrej is a home-grown home and personal care Company in India, which was a part of the erstwhile Godrej Soaps Limited (GSL) before a separation took place in April 2001. Since then the company has fared well even to becoming India’s largest and leading product company; selling home and personal products like, soap, hair colourants, toiletries and liquid detergents and so on.

In 2014, a total of 21000 employees were recorded under GCPL. Since Nisa’s arrival on the board, there have been many more achievements.  This comes to show that the young lady is not focused on fame, titles or position rather; she desires greater heights through hard work and dedication.
